This year’s Plage aux Entrepreneurs will take place on September 12, 2024.

Last year,
Arcachon welcomed key players in the French economy
for the second edition of “La Plage aux Entrepreneurs”,
under the patronage of Louis Gallois.

This national event dedicated to “Made in France” is aimed at professionals seeking
experience, inspiration and innovation.

The event showcases emblematic figures of French-style entrepreneurship
to create new synergies and promote French manufacturing and know-how.

Initiated by the town of Arcachon, La Plage aux Entrepreneurs offers each participant the opportunity to
to start the new school year with an enriching experience,
both professionally and personally,
thanks to inspiring speeches, unique encounters and personalities
such as Arnaud Montebourg, and shared moments to build momentum,
evolve or simply find the motivation to meet the many challenges of entrepreneurship.
This year, La Plage aux Entrepreneurs was co-organized with the Origine France Garantie association
represented by its President Gilles Attaf.

An edition under the patronage of Louis Gallois

After graduating from HEC in 1966, he joined the Ecole Nationale de l’Administration, graduating in 1972 with the Charles de Gaulle promotion. Naturally, he joined the French Treasury, where he held a number of positions, including Director of the Treasury, then Cabinet Director in 1981, under Jean-Pierre Chevènement, then Minister of Research and Technology.

His skills in the industrial field led to his appointment as head of :

SNECMA, on July 5, 1989,
Aerospatiale, in June 1992.
Louis Gallois earns his stripes as a negotiator at the head of SNCF.
From July 1996 to June 2006, he was in charge of numerous reforms within the national company.
Appointed Co-Chairman of EADS on July 2, 2006.
Chairman of Airbus, October 9, 2006.
He becomes Chairman of the Supervisory Board of PSA Peugeot Citroën, between 2014 and 2021.

Made in France

For its second edition, the town of Arcachon is putting the spotlight on companies, craftsmen, producers and industrialists who are fully committed to French manufacturing or who wish to relocate their activity.
