Spread over 10 hectares, the Ville d’Hiver d’Arcachon was the site of one of the most original groups of villas built in the 19th and early 20th centuries. This district, on the heights of the town, is a little paradise of architecture and fantasy. Each villa tells its own story, that of the birth of Arcachon, which thanks to the Pereire brothers became a major resort during the Belle Epoque.
