Winter is undoubtedly the best season for observing seabirds in the Bay of Biscay
Bay of Biscay, especially in the channels and passes that cross the Basin. Sheltered from storms
they find tranquillity and abundant prey. The beautiful and original species of loons
loons, razorbills, guillemots and the baffling fishing ducks known as mergansers, among more common
cormorants and grebes. A peaceful contemplation of these travelers on the waves, to which
you're all invited!
